from 10th  to 15th  March in Kathmandu, Nepal

  1. The 4th World Meeting of the coordinators for the 2nd World Women’s Conference took place from the 10th till the 15th of March 2015 in Katmandu/Nepal. Together with the wonderful women of the eight women’s organizations (United Women’s Association) we make a call to all the women of the world: Start NOW with the intensive preparation for the 2nd World Women’s Conference. Take responsibility for the conference, win many participants, collect much money, help to guarantee the full success of the mass program, the general assembly of the delegates, the cultural nights, the workshops and so on. Strengthen the organized women’s movement in your countries in preparing the 2nd World Women’s Conference!

LET’S GO FORWARD!

Women are climbing the highest mountains.

  1. Young people in South Africa, girls and young men, are under massive drug attacks, which are destroying young people, under stress of their dark future, and prohibited from completing their studies, while sitting at home without jobs and other living conditions.

4. Europakonferenz in Elefsina Griechenland (Deutsch, Französisch)

  1. Europakonferenz der Weltfrauen in Elefsina bei Athen in Griechenland:

Am 31. Januar und 1. Februar fand in Elefsina bei Athen die begeisternde 4. Europakonferenz der Weltfrauen statt. Das war etwas Neues: Nicht nur, dass das stramme Arbeitsprogramm der europäischen Weltfrauen für die Vorbereitung der 2. Weltfrauenkonferenz der Basisfrauen beschlossen wurde.

Ebenso wichtig: Am Vortag fand ein Treffen mit Vertreterinnen von neun Fraueninitiativen aus Griechenland statt. Vertreterinnen der kämpfenden Athener Putzfrauen, von Frauenhäusern und anderen Initiativen berichteten ihre Erfahrungen, folgten sehr aufmerksam einem Vortrag über den Weltfrauenkonferenzprozess, vereinbarten überparteiliche dauerhafte Zusammenarbeit untereinander und sind jetzt begeisterter Teil des Weltfrauenprozesses.

Dieser unmittelbare Beitrag zur Stärkung der organisierten kämpferischen Frauenbewegung im Gastgeberland war Teil der beeindruckende neuen Qualität dieser Konferenz.

In Elefsina waren Delegationen aus acht Ländern (Deutschland, Frankreich, Griechenland, Niederlande, Russland, Schweden, Schweiz, Spanien) vertreten und aus weiteren neun Ländern lagen Grußbotschaften, Länderberichte oder Erklärungen vor, dass die Frauen Teil der Weltfrauenprozesses sind.

Paris: La Journée d’actions sur le Rana Plaza

Bonjour à toutes ! Rana Plaza 24 avril 2015

Une des résolutions de la 4ème conférence des femmes à Elefsina/Athènes du 31/1/15 dit : La conférence décide que nous devons toutes contribuer à une meilleure organisation du mouvement des femmes sur le plan national et international. A cette fin, nous utiliserons les 3 journées de combat, mais aussi les activités de la marche des femmes du monde 2015, et notamment les étapes de la caravane à travers l’Europe et la célébration du 2ème anniversaire de l’effondrement de l’usine textile Rana Plaza au Bangladesh le 24 avril. La conférence mondiale des femmes et la marche des femmes du monde 2015 ne sont pas opposées, bien au contraire, nous coopérons et nous soutenons mutuellement.

Voici donc un bilan fait par les femmes de la Marche Mondiale des Femmes qui a surtout organisé cette action :

We as members of the newly elected Militant Women’s Council have have today met for the first time after our successful 11th Women’s Political Counsel.

Just now Monika Gaertner-Engel, European coordinator has given her report about the exciting 4th worldmeeting of coordinators in Kathmandu, which we found very inspiring for the 2nd World Women’s Conference.

With deep dismay and concern we have now heard about the very grave earthquake in Kathmandu and the surrounding country.

Our thought are with you and we are sending you a solidarity message with comes from the bottom of our hearts.

We, Monika and Halinka are back from a very successful meeting in Nepal.

We are sending you all decisions and resolutions as well as some pictures enclosed, so that you may have an impression of the meeting yourselves.

The most important result is that the eight women’s organisations in Nepal work together very closely and have set course for the World Women’s Conference 2016 despite all the conflicts between their parties. In this spirit we decided upon the following resolutions (among others):
