Dear Worldwomen!
Exactly one year ago – on March 8 2011 – the inspiring first World Women’s
Conference of rank and file women ended. Courageous statements concerning our
future were made in the final resolution:
• Political goals regarding the rise for the liberation of women worldwide!

WORLD WOMEN’S CONFERENCES EVERY FIVE YEARS!

Annual joint days of action and struggle on 8th March/ 1st May/ 25th November!

Strengthening of the militant women’s movement in the individual countries!

METHODS OF ORGANIZING AN INTERNATIONAL, MUTUAL EXCHANGE OF OPINIONS AND
EXPERIENCE, OF LEARNING AND COORDINATION PROCESSES!
INTENSIFYING OF THE WORLDWIDE COMMUNICATION!

• Attracting new fellows and future supporters for upcoming World Women’s
Conferences!

To improve communication the resolution says:
“Let us work together across country and language borders! Let us use our rich
potentials of our experience and cultures! Let us use the different forms of
communication, coordination and cooperation in order to deepen and widen our
common work. Let us break all barriers by using alternative forms of communication
and mutual solidarity in order to strengthen the militant world women’s movement .”
The European “Worldwomen” not only affirmed these intentions on the first European
Conference on 7 January 2012 but there were also some women who directly
engaged themselves in designing this new website.
Today on March 8 2012, the 101st International Women’s Day, this website goes
online and thereby sends greetings to all of you, to our combatants and all interested
women.
It is a special highlight content-wise that today, for the first time, the voluminous
protocol of the General Assembly at the World Women’s Conference is published
(written by the elected German keeper of the minutes) as well as other protocols of
the workshops (Talleres) that we received from Venezuela.

The aim of the new homepage is to inform more modern and up-to-date with stronger
networks, more concentrated and international than before and to organize the
exchange. And most of all: This website is supposed to step-by-step invite more and
more “Worldwomen” from all over world to become active contributors. Thus, we
already have quite a few contributions and greetings for 8 March from around the
globe.
To fill this website with live will be a learning process of course! We are looking
forward to getting reports and letters, pictures and films! Critics and suggestions are
also very welcome!
Vamos mujeres – that is true for our great joint projects as well as for this website!
We wish you and all of us a lot of joy and success with it!

CONFERENCE 2016!
