Wie wir soeben erfahren haben, wurde unsere Aktivistin und Weltfrau Sharmista Choudhury am Montag in Westbengalen/ Indien von Hooligans gekidnappt und brutal zusammengeschlagen. Wir fürchten um ihr Leben. Sharmista ist eine Führerin der Bewegung für den Schutz von Menschen, Lebensgrundlagen und Umwelt.

Sharmista is a leader of the movement for the protection of people, livelihoods and the environment.

Protestation

We, women of the world women´s conferences, strongly condemn the brutal attacks and abduction of our activist Sharmista Choudhury and the other leaders of the Bhangor-Movement!

Sharmista is an activist of the worldwomen. We send this message to all of us in the whole world!

We demand their immediate and unharmed release! As well as that of the other leaders.

We call on all democratic forces in the country to take to the streets for the release of the kidnapped leaders.

We call on the government to take action against these criminal activities.

We call the women of the world – free our activist Sharmista! She must come back soon!
