4.2. RESOLUTION OF THE WOMEN OF AFRICA

Theoretical Seminar – Kathmandu, November 2025

We, the women of Africa, committed to the liberation of women from exploitation, patriarchal oppression, and imperialist domination, adopt the following resolutions for just and transformative feminist action on the continent and internationally:

  1. Make the fight against gender-based violence and climate disasters a priority, recognizing their direct impact on the lives, safety, and autonomy of African women.
  2. Denounce and combat armed conflicts in Africa, which exacerbate sexual violence, destroy communities, and hinder women’s liberation, and promote the full and active participation of women in peace processes.
  3. Denounce and combat armed conflicts in Africa, which intensify sexual violence, devastate communities, and hinder women’s liberation, and promote the full, active, and decisive participation of women in conflict prevention, resolution, and peacebuilding processes.
