| Travel documents required for entry into Nepal
Passport (valid for at least 6 months; children’s identity cards for children up to the age of 16 are accepted if they have a photograph) Visa application for Nepal The easiest way is to apply online before departure. The Nepal visa must be applied for online at least 14 days before entry. Use the official online form of the immigration authority: http://www.online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa (currently only available in English). It is necessary to upload a passport photo. At the end, please print out the page and take the application with you to Nepal. The visa fee is paid directly at the airport counter, where the visa is ultimately affixed to your passport.
