There are only a few months to go until the start of our important Theoretical Seminar in Nepal in November 2025.

At the 3rd World Women’s Conference 2022 in Tunis, the Women decided to hold the 2nd Theoretical Seminar. They recognized the imperialist system as the root of women’s problems, their exploitation and oppression.

We are organizing this seminar at a time when the world is facing the greatest challenges and dangers. Wars are escalating and the struggle for global supremacy is taking ever more absurd forms. Oppression and exploitation are intensifying, and the danger of fascism is growing. The existential crisis of humankind is deepening. Old and new imperialists and reactionaries continue to play with the fuse of nuclear world war. However, to understand all this, we must address the political and economic foundations of imperialism and recognize them and their goals as the cause.

The women of the world know that the resistance and struggles of women’s movements will increase. They are preparing to play their role in changing society. They are stepping up to face an implacable opponent of our liberation, insatiable greed for profit, double exploitation, racism, sexism, postmodernism, opportunism, and anti-communism.

They need strong, unified alliances, as well as orientation and guidance for their struggles. And they have a big goal: a society that is free from the oppression and exploitation of women. This requires discussing and further developing the theoretical foundations of the women’s movement.

Why are hard-won women’s rights being trampled on in more and more countries, especially in this situation? And how can the international women’s movement become an insurmountable social force? These are some of the questions we will explore in the Theoretical Seminar.

It is time for us to deeply understand and take on our role in the struggle against imperialism and for the true liberation of women. This Theoretical Seminar must provide us with the necessary foundations.

This makes holding our seminar and discussing the theoretical foundations and perspectives of our struggles to liberate women from exploitation and oppression all the more important.
