Dear Women all over the world!
Dear women and men workers!
Today, May 1st, the international day of struggle of the working class, we, the coordinators of the World Women’s Conference of the rank and file, address the following appeal to you:
We call on all women to rise up against exploitation, war, poverty and oppression!
Today, more than ever, we grassroots women must raise our voices.
The world is in dangerous times. Wars are spreading, fueled by the great powers and their economic interests. In Palestine, Ukraine, Sudan, Congo and so many other regions, women and children are paying the highest price: violence, exile, misery.
This increasing militarization is compounded by the brutal rise of the far right, which spreads hatred, racism and sexism, reinforces divisions and threatens our fundamental freedoms. Reactionary governments everywhere are attempting to challenge women’s rights, criminalize solidarity and silence dissenting voices.
In the face of this global offensive against democracy and human dignity, we reaffirm
● Our international solidarity with all women who are victims of war, oppression and fascism.
● Our commitment against all forms of exploitation, oppression and chauvinistic nationalism.
● Our determination to organize resistance and build grassroots women’s unity across borders, languages and religions.
We will not allow our lives and the future of our children to be sacrificed for profit or ambitions of power.
We fight for a world of peace, equality and justice.
On this May 1, 2025, we call on all women to:
● To mobilize en masse,
● to prepare to strengthen social struggles,
● to revitalize and develop the international women’s movement from the grassroots.
The world needs our strength, our courage and our organization!
Let’s prepare together the next World Women’s Conference of grassroots women to raise the voice of women fighters from all continents.
Let us march on May 1st united, determined and proud.
Long live the international solidarity of grassroots women!
Long live the struggle for our liberation and that of all humanity!
