International Women’s Day 2025: The need of the hour is the united front !

In 1910, Clara Zetkin, together with delegates from 17 countries, proclaimed International Women’s Day as a ‘day of struggle for equality and peace’ at the International Congress of Socialist Women in Copenhagen. In March 1915, the ‘International Socialist Women’s Conference against the War’ was held in Bern.
In
2022, the 3rd World Women’s Conference of grassroots women in Tunis with participants from 42 countries came to the far-sighted conclusion: ‘Imperialism leads to war and destroys our livelihoods’.

2025 On the back of an ongoing worldwide economic and financial crisis, the fascist threat is intensifying worldwide, as is the global environmental catastrophe and the threat of a third world war.

Appeal for the International Women’s Day 2024

This appeal was drawn up by the Middle East Coordinators in the name of the World Coordinators

On March 8, 2024, the International Women’s Day of Struggle, we will take to the streets against the exploitation and oppression of women worldwide, against patriarchy, fascism, racism, capitalism and imperialism. The streets of the world will echo with our calls on this day, which we have declared a day of common struggle. As always, we will take to the streets against sexual, national and class oppression.
