Raise a glass, my friends, and give a toast to all the Revolutionary Feminists the world over
who are marching, striking, writing, singing, demanding and fighting for an end to this grotesque, inhumane system of capitalism. We say to Trump and his bootlicking supporters and far-right bros around the world — We will not surrender! — We will defeat you!
A toast to abortion rights fighters from Australia to Poland to Wyoming! To queer, trans and non-binary people — who will be seen and will be heard. Here’s to bodily autonomy for every body in the year 2026.
A toast to immigrants and refugees pouring across borders, seeking safety in a world on fire. We value your courage, your labor, and your leadership. And let’s hear it for all the frogs, unicorns and people without cool costumes opposing ICE and police repression in any way they can. They are on the front lines of the fight against injustice. Here’s to the working class of the world, which has crushed fascism before and can do it again!
Immense respect to Palestinians and all Indigenous peoples who steadfastly resist genocide. And a salute to Ukrainians and Sudanese standing up to empire builders and reborn colonialism.
A toast to the librarians, teachers, students, reporters and artists who will not be silent when freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of association are under attack.
A toast to African Americans who refuse to have their history erased, their voting rights denied, or to capitulate to state-sanctioned violence. Their tenacious, centuries-long battle against white supremacy is a priceless road map for freedom fighters to learn from and to follow.
And a toast to the little-sung, hard-working mothers, daughters, and oppressed genders whose leadership inspires, nurtures and sustains liberation struggles everywhere.
The capitalists have made the fatal mistake of believing their own PR. Imagining we will knuckle under to them. Believing they are smarter than us, tougher than us. But brutality is not strength. Lies told over and over again do not become truth, they just become more obvious as lies.
Let us raise a glass to all sister and sibling rebels, resisters, agitators, dissenters, disrupters and revolutionaries. To those who will not go along to get along, who not only dream of a better world but are actively working to bring it into being.
